What a session looks like
My sessions will always be fun, effective and driven towards your specific goals and needs.
Before we start we will discuss any changes in goals, eating habits, and if carrying any injuries, aches or knocks that i should be made aware of.
Starting the session we will always start with a warm up, to get your core temperature up and your blood flowing around your body. We will then do some dynamic stretches, to stimulate your range of movement and prepare you for exercise.
The main body of the session will heavily depend on your goals, but can consist of some resistance work, focusing on the muscle groups that we have identified need attention, using a variety and mixture of equipment. Imbalances in muscles will also be addressed with a combination of resistance work and stretches. Cardio needs for fat loss and/or toning will be focused on, and can involve a HIIT workout in one of its many forms. A combination of resistance and cardio can also be incorporated through a circuit workout.
After the main body of the session, we will do a cool down, to bring your temperature back down, whilst keeping the blood flowing around your body. We will then perform some static stretches for maintenance and development of the muscle.
