About Ben
My journey into the world of fitness and exercise started in 2002, when after a serious car accident I sustained broken legs, arm and some serious metal work. The need to get up and walk again was paramount, and after three months in hospital, two more in a wheelchair and copious amounts of hydrotherapy and physiotherapy, I took it upon myself to continue my rehabilitation and thus my entry into the gym environment.
I reside in the small leafy town of Paulton, Somerset, having moved out of city life, back to my countryside roots. Living here provides me with great access to other local towns and villages, Chew Valley and to the great cities of Bath and Bristol.
When I am not training clients, I can be found wandering around a variety of different countries as I love to travel. I have visited over 50 countries, and have also found the time to live in New Zealand and Tanzania. Holiday and travel destination tips can be given and most certainly welcomed!
A camera is never far from my grasp, as I like to capture what I see and experience. Closer to home I try to get to concerts when I can, and music is an always present feature in my life.
“I've just completed 6 weeks training with Ben and saw my fitness level results and the tape measure today - I am over the moon with my results! Such a massive improvement from where I started off, both in terms of strength, fitness and body shape - Ben has helped me meet all my goals!
More to the point, I've felt so positive after every PT session, it was just the boost I needed. I feel so happy to see such a positive difference and impact the last 6 weeks have had - bring on the next 6 weeks!
Don't hesitate to book for training with Ben Beale, he's good humoured, fun and makes you WORK HARD, in a way that's easy to fit into a busy schedule. One of the best decisions I made. Thanks Ben!”

Philosophy
My philosophy is to enable those I work with to achieve their goals and aims by offering no gimmicks or bamboozling science, but to establish the need to achieve a solid foundation by fostering a good diet, and by then complimenting this with a realistic and achievable exercise schedule. It Is important that exercise is both functional and enjoyable, for you to see the ongoing benefits throughout your daily routines, both when exercising and when going about your normal daily life.
As a Personal Trainer whom specialises in home training, I offer a friendly, fun, reliable and results driven service to my clients, and firmly believe that success is only achieved through trust and a strong bond with my clients.
I have had to rehabilitate myself before, and so I know the effort, commitment, pain and desire to achieve this, and so have considerable knowledge and empathy to pass along.
